What personal data we collect and why
- Newsletter subscription: When you sign up for our monthly newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send it to you. This is based on your consent. You can unsubscribe anytime, and that withdraws it immediately.
- Website analytics: We gather anonymous usage stats (like page views, referrers, and rough location from hashed IP data). No cookies are set, no personal data or full IP addresses are collected or stored. Everything is aggregated and anonymised daily. We do this to understand how the site performs and make practical improvements based on legitimate interests (no individual tracking involved).
How we process and share your data
- Newsletter emails are managed via MailerLite, which acts as our processor. Privacy policy.
- Analytics are handled by Plausible. Data policy.
We have Data Processing Agreements in place with both providers to ensure GDPR compliance. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Data storage and retention
- Newsletter data is stored as long as you remain subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Analytics data is retained according to the providers' standard periods for statistical purposes.
- We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
